What Home Means To Me.

Now that we’ve been sheltering in place for over 2 months, I have been thinking a lot about home and what it means to me.

I learned the true meaning of home from my grandfather. Every Friday, my big family (including aunts uncles and cousins) would gather at his house. He was the most generous and loving man - there was always an abundance of food, drinks and good conversation. We laughed and sang and danced which filled my grandfather’s heart with so much joy. Everyone fell in love with him from the first minute they met him. I have such fond memories of how he welcomed us and everyone into his home.

I love to host, cook and spend time with loved ones. Much like my grandfather, this fills my cup and brings me joy.

To me, home is a place to celebrate life and create unforgettable memories. It’s a place for laughter, food and fun. A place to feel respected and cared for.

As we adjust to this new normal amidst a global pandemic, I hope to use this platform as a way to connect with you and invite you into MY home. I am working on adding some of my favourite healthy recipes as well as favourite restaurants that currently offer contactless delivery and much more. I hope you’ll stay and visit often.
